FAA

Since its inception, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has fulfilled its mission of ensuring the safety and efficiency of the nation’s airspace system. Today, the FAA controls an average of 200,000 takeoffs and landings per day and moves almost 600 million passengers per year. As these numbers grow, fulfilling this mission becomes an even greater challenge.

Flatirons Solutions offers the FAA proven processes and knowledge of industry best practices for critical systems engineering. We support the FAA on the National Airspace System (NAS) as well as cross-domain and enterprise-wide initiatives like Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS) and System Wide Information Management (SWIM). Our team provides engineering and management support for the critical transformation of legacy to modernized automation systems across FAA domains, including Host to ERAM (EnRoute Automation Modernization), Enhanced Traffic Management System (ETMS) to TFMS, Traffic Management Advisor (TMA) to Time Based Flow Management (TBFM) and ground-based to satellite-based navigation.

We have provided mission-critical support to the FAA since our company’s inception, and value our deepening relationship with the FAA community.  For more information on our support of FAA programs, we invite you to contact us.
