Tom is a former Navy Rear Admiral with over 30 years of senior
leadership positions in government, industry, and academia. Tom’s
background in aviation, information technology, and knowledge management
combine into a unique vision for both commercial and government
markets. Before joining Flatirons, Tom was Dean of the College of Naval
Leadership at the Naval War College in Newport, RI. He oversaw the
leadership development and operational level programs for Navy officers
and enlisted personnel. He also served as the site manager and Vice
President for Strategic Operations - Strategies, Simulations, and
Training Business Unit at Science Applications International
Corporation (SAIC) in Omaha, NE.

Greg is a co-founder of Flatirons Solutions and President of Flatirons Solutions - Content Technology line of business. Under Greg’s leadership, the company has established strong partner alliances, cultivated a client list featuring industry leaders and Fortune 500 companies, and become widely-recognized as a premier provider of content intensive solutions and services.
Greg has over 26 years of experience in consulting, staffing, business development, client service and the delivery of leading edge content solutions. Before founding Flatirons, Greg was a Practice Executive for IBM Global Services’ worldwide Enterprise Document Management practice. He also worked with IBM’s Federal Systems Division.
Greg holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from California Polytechnic State University and an M.C.I.S from the University of Denver.
An active community volunteer, Greg has been involved in youth soccer coaching, the Big Brothers program, and numerous local charity events.
Andy is President of Flatirons Solutions - Government Solutions line of business, which has gained national recognition for providing technical
expertise on FAA modernization programs and provides similar
engineering services to NASA, the FDIC, and various other federal,
state, and local goverment organizations..
Andy brings more than 35 years of experience in information technology to his position. He has managed large and small information technology (IT) integration, custom software development, package implementation, and consulting projects throughout all phases of the development lifecycle. Before joining Flatirons Solutions, Andy was a Vice President at Guident Technologies and President of Headstrong Public Sector.
Andy holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and a MS in Computer Science and a MA in Systems Management from George Washington University. He is PMP certified.
Andy’s interests include raising Koi and spending time with his granddaughter Daphne.
Eric is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Flatirons Solutions. An internationally recognized XML pioneer and content management industry expert, he drives the company’s technical strategy, technology partnerships, and delivery of quality for Flatirons customers. Eric is a frequent speaker at content management and XML industry events and active participant in industry and standards organizations. He is also a contributor to a number of content technology blogs.
Eric has over 29 years of experience in the technology field, ranging from hands-on product development and consulting to senior management roles in engineering and marketing. A former president of the OASIS industry consortium and a current IDEAlliance board member, he also has experience as an Executive Consultant for IBM Global Services, as a Vice President and Chief Strategist for Interleaf, Inc., and as co-founder and CTO of Avalanche Development.
Eric holds a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, and Ph.D. coursework in Computer Science from the University of Colorado.
In his "spare time", Eric enjoys contributing to the indie/alternative music scene in Colorado as a singer/songwriter.
Karyn is the Chief Financial Officer of Flatirons Solutions. Karyn oversees the Company’s financial goals and objectives, manages financial risks, and develops and implements strategies and tactics to create and capitalize on opportunities that enhance the company’s value. Before joining Flatirons Solutions, Karyn was the CFO of a Boulder-based public company in the media industry. In this position she provided financial oversight and analysis, established the financial and operational discipline necessary to grow the company’s revenue over 500% during her nine-year tenure, integrated several acquisitions, and actively participated in investor relations and non-deal road shows. Karyn has also worked in a financial management capacity for several start-up companies. Karyn began her career with Ernst & Young in Atlanta, Georgia.
Karyn holds a B.S. degree and Masters in Accounting from the University of Florida and is a licensed CPA in the state of Colorado.
Karyn’s interests include U.S. history, politics, hiking, biking and traveling.
Danny O’Neill is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Content Technology Sales. Danny directs all marketing efforts in both of Flatirons Solutions’ lines of business, and guides sales strategy and execution for the Content Technology line of business. Danny comes to Flatirons Solutions with a reputation as a proven visionary, with over 20 years of experience in building and managing cohesive sales and marketing teams. Prior to joining Flatirons Solutions Mr. O’Neill held key positions with EMC Corporation, Cisco Systems, Computer Associates, and Interwise. Before working with these organizations, Mr. O’Neill also founded and managed a successful marketing and advertising agency.
Danny’s focus is to expand Flatirons Solutions’ presence in industries such as Publishing, and to expand our organization’s increasingly prominent role in both planning and executing the critical technology decisions made by its client organizations.
An outdoor enthusiast and father, Danny holds enjoys running, rock climbing, and swimming.
